The Genesis GV60 represents a major step toward realizing these lofty ambitions as the brand's first vehicle without a gasoline-powered counterpart. The premium electric crossover got off to a hot start, garnering prestigious Red Dot and iF Design Awards before customer deliveries even commenced. The GV60 is currently offered in extremely limited numbers, with availability expanding later in the launch cycle. Here's a quick look at a few of its standout attributes.
Performance, Range, and Charging
The GV60 Advanced is set in motion by a 77.4-kWh battery pack powering dual axle-mounted electric motors for an all-wheel-driving 314 horsepower and 446 pound-feet of torque. Its EPA-estimated range of 248 miles equates approximately to 95 miles-per-gallon (MPGe).
For a more invigorating driving experience, the GV60 Performance increases horsepower to 429 and has an EPA-estimated range of 235 miles (90 MPGe). In Boost Mode, output rises temporarily to 483 hp and 516 lb-ft, enabling a swift 0–60 sprint in under four seconds.
The Genesis GV60 is one of the few currently available models with 350kW ultra-fast charging support, which can replenish the battery from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes at a compatible station.
