Genesis has been shaking up the luxury market since day one, garnering accolades from critics and adoration from drivers for vehicles that deliver a first-class driving experience and peerless value. Last week, the intrepid automaker closed out August on a high note, adding another award to its impressive trophy case when it earned the number-one ranking in J.D. Power's 2022 U.S. Tech Experience Index Study. Thanks to its comprehensive offerings of standard and available cutting-edge features, Genesis had the highest Innovation Index score among all automakers.
The 2022 study examined how effective each automaker is at bringing technology to the market based on the level of adoption of new technologies and how well that technology is implemented. Factors contributing to the "excellence in execution" index include how much owners enjoy the technologies and the number of problems customers encounter during operation. The study analyzed thirty-five technologies across four categories. Examples of Genesis offerings in each category include:
- Convenience: Genesis Digital Key, Remote Smart Parking Assist,
- Energy and Sustainability: Genesis GV60 and Electrified G80 EVs, 350-kW ultra-fast charging capability (10–80% in ~18 minutes).
- Infotainment and Connectivity: 14.5-inch HD touchscreen navigation with HD Traffic, Dynamic Voice Recognition, handwriting recognition, 12.3" 3D Digital Cluster, Lexicon® QuantumLogic® Surround Sound System
- Emerging automation: Highway Driving Assist; Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control with Auto Curve Slowdown
