Genesis is a luxury car manufacturer that's been competing with the likes of BMW and Lexus for years. But now, Genesis is looking to compete with the likes of Bentley with their new GT90 model. The GT90 is a two-door version of the G90 sedan, and it comes with an all-electric powertrain. Details are scarce, but we still want to highlight what we know about the GT90.
Highlights of the GT90
According to Genesis, the GT90 is a vehicle that’s never-been-done before. It's completely new and aims to cater to the wealthiest of clientele. No release date has been announced. But Luc Donckerwolke, Genesi's creative officer, has said the convertible model is due this year. We suspect the coupe model will shortly follow.
While many details about the upcoming GT90 haven't been confirmed, we do know the EV will be impressive. If the electric G80 sedan is any indication, we can expect the electrified GT90 to outperform it. With this in mind, we expect the GT90 to offer more than 500 horsepower and well over 300 miles of range.
Although many aspects of the upcoming GT90 are still unreleased, we do know the model's price. According to Genesis, the GT90 will start around $115,000.
