Trims

The 2024 Genesis G90 is a large luxury sedan offered in two trim levels:

  • G90 3.5T AWD
  • G90 3.5T E-Supercharger AWD

Design

Genesis redesigned the G90's interior last year to better compete with other luxury models. The new design used more high-end materials in the construction of the cabin and offered more standard features.

Nappa leather now comes standard in every model - with it are ventilated-and-heated front seats with massage function. Additionally, Carmel and Westfield drivers will find power sunshades, active noise cancellation technology, and a premium audio system.

Passenger space is also quite generous in the front and the back seats. In the G90 E-supercharged models, there are there's reclining rear seats with ventilation and a massage function.

Performance

This year, the G90 removes the 5.0-liter V8 engine from the lineup. Now, the 2024 model comes equipped with a twin-turbo V6 available in two potencies. The base model outputs 375 horsepower and 391 pound-feet of torque. While the other engine uses an electric supercharger and a 48-volt hybrid system to produce 409 horsepower and 405 pound-feet. Both engines pair with an eight-speed transmission and all-wheel drive.

Fuel Economy

According to the EPA, the new Genesis G90 offers good gas mileage regardless of the engine under the hood. With the 375-hp engine equipped, the EPA says the model gets around 18 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. However, opting for the more powerful 409-hp version drops those numbers to 17 mpg city and 24 mpg highway.

Technology

For your enjoyment, Genesis has outfitted the latest G90 model with a 12.3-inch display with sharply rendered graphics. Navigation and SiriusXM satellite radio are both standard, as are wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. All models also feature a 15-speaker Bang and Olufsen stereo system. Although, the E-supercharged comes with an upgraded stereo. This stereo has 23 speakers and a mode that simulates the acoustics of a concert hall. Other features offered in the G90 include a head-up display and a wireless smartphone charging pad.
